Photos by Rej is getting a facelift!!

You may have noticed that that I mentioned I will be closed the month of December….but I won’t really be “closed”….just have to take some time to make some fabulous new changes to Photos by Rej :)….Coming soon, in January 2008 I will be launching a brand spankin’ new fabulous site! This site will have some wonderful features to make it easier for you – like a calendar so you can see my availability, online proofing directly from my site, some warm and fuzzy words of praise , etc… I will also be launching some wonderful new products as well. Lots of great things coming for 2008! I will be available to answer emails and bookings in between that time, so if you have a special occasion, like a pregnancy or the impending arrival of a precious angel, or simply want to get some special family moments captured, simply send me an email and we can book ahead. Please note there will be a price increase in January 2008. Please email Rej for more details. And last but not least, I will be having a “Photo of the Year” contest to celebrate all the wonderful families I have met since I went live in May 2007 (that includes you too Shona!). I will be posting an image from each one of these wonderful families and you get to vote on your favorite image of the year – the winning family will win… …..you need to stay tuned for more info!! :)

I love when .....

...I get to a home and I instantly feel the love....I had the pleasure of meeting 3 generations today too! This family was so outgoing and relaxed - total joy to be around! This photo reminds me of an ad....I just love it!! ...."C" was doing a good job of being a super cute baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ...but he doesn't really have to work at it...just look at that face...he is a natural cutie!! =) ...and big sis "L" just knew how to work a camera!! She was lovin' every minute of it!!...and I think a futur Canadian Idol contestant!?? Mom and Dad, enjoy your sneak peak! R

I've been tagged...

I have been tagged.....My good friend and fellow photographer Meghan Liddle (http://www.meghanliddlephotography.com/) tagged me a while back...just getting around to it now... this is where you get to know a little bit about Rej....

1. I have 2 children, boy and girl, and I would LOVE to have more…but hubby is done..so I guess that means I am done too…:-)
2. I love to vacuum….i know, I know…sounds nuts..oh, and I like to do laundry too!!
3. I am PETRIFIED of the movie Exorcist…one day I was vacuuming (lol) while my husband was flipping through the TV channels…as I turned off the vacuum I heard it…for a brief second…that “MUSIC”….and saw the priest at the end of the staircase in silhouette…and I panicked…I just didn’t want to see that face, you know what I am talking about…shoot, I just got a visual…AHHHHH!!
4. I love when my kids cuddle up in bed with me and fall asleep – I always tell my husband I will bring them back to their bed but I never do. The other night my son was our “guest”…lol…and he cuddled up behind me and put his arm around me….melted my heart…
5. I met my husband at a bar….we still not sure who picked up who…lol…
6. I love my sandals….I have been known to wear them well into the fall and early winter….I just don’t want to give them up….
7. It is impossible for me to take a nap during the day in my bed….just can’t do it…I think its because I fall into a super deep sleep….I usually get a headache and awfully cranky….the best place for me to nap is the couch...:-)
8. I am definitely addicted to caffeine – I have my kids to thank for that =) …didn’t really start until after the birth of my second…LOVE coca cola and Tim Horton’s!!
9. I very rarely wear make up….
